The Signal and Image Processing Lab (SIPL) was established 50 years ago within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Faculty of the Technion. Throughout its history, SIPL has actively engaged in research and teaching in a wide range of signal processing topics. It has nurtured many dozens of graduate students over the years, and facilitated over 50 undergraduate projects annually, many of them in collaboration with industry partners.

This year, the annual SIPL lab event is dedicated to celebrating the lab's 50th anniversary. The event will be especially festive and engaging, featuring a nostalgic exhibition showcasing the lab's milestones over the decades, along with fascinating lectures and panel discussions. It promises to be a memorable occasion where students, friends, and collaborators of the lab can meet and reconnect.
